What we collect

When you sign in with Steam we receive your public SteamID64, display name and avatar. We store what you create on SkinsAlpha: watchlist, portfolios (skins, quantities, buy prices), alerts, an optional email address and an optional Discord webhook URL, plus feedback you send. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in.

What we never collect

Your Steam password, Steam Guard codes, API keys with trade permissions, or payment card details. SkinsAlpha has no trade access to your account and never holds skins or money.

Steam inventory import

If you click “Import from Steam” we read your public CS2 inventory once to fill your portfolio. Your inventory must be public for this to work.

How we use it

Only to run the features you use, to send alerts you set up, and to improve the product. We don't sell personal data.

Where it is stored

Our database is hosted by Supabase, the API by Render and the website by Vercel. Logs are kept for a limited time for security.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all personal data any time from My Account. If you're in the EU/EEA you have GDPR rights to access, correct and erase your data; contact us at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL].
